BLC and Bridgend College worked together to create a fun and engaging environment for young people to enjoy. The space was filled with the latest digital technologies to give young people an insight into different digital activities which could support them in future job opportunities.
The 'Creadigidol' area was created to excite young people in new digital technologies and give them the opportunity to trial and experiment with educational products used to enhance learning.
In an attempt to capture some of the participants learning experiences we ran an online survey and captured feedback on what learners enjoyed most about their workshop experience:
'This is the coolest space on the maes, I can't wait to come back next year.'
' It took a few times to get the ping pong ball in the cup, but I changed the code on the software and we got there in the end!'
' So many fun activities, it's made me think about what I want to do in the future.'
' Fy hoff peth i oedd codio gyda'r LEGO, ges i lot o hwyl yn rasio'r robots.'
'I didn't realise there was so much you could do with the Micro:Bit, I loved making my own game.'
'Rydw i eisiau bod yn cyflwynydd pan dwi'n hun. Fy hoff rhan oedd ffilmio cynnwys fy hun.'
'There was a great range of activities for all ages.'
